The media consits of television, radio, movies, books, newspapers and the Internet are our prime sources of news and information. Media consolidation means that the few huge corporations that own most of our media is getting even bigger by taking over more and more of our local media outlets.

“ Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism shows the true meaning of “outfoxed”. It was the filmaker belief of the support of the Republican agenda. “Outfoxed” was compiled during the past seven months in association with liberal political organizations Center for American Progress and MoveOn.Org, as well as the citizens’ lobbying group. The film displays a flurry of FOX pundits blasting Richard Clarke, often in similar terms. “It was almost like FOX News was working off of the playbook coming out of the White House, that he had to be torn down,” FAIR co-founder Jeff Cohen says in the film.

She said she was living in a nightmare being stalked by her ex boyfriend. Comparing this document to Murrow Harvest of Shame which took place in 1960. Harvest of Shame forever changed the nature of TV news and set the tone for a generation of investigative journalists. There is such a huge difference in these two documents , television is not the way it used to be people are being killed and hurt everyday. I wish it was the 60’s because it seems the world was completely different.

The Loretta Young Show’s trademark was the dramatic entrance Miss Young made at the beginning of each episode. She would come sweeping through a doorway with her full-skirted dress swirling around her and move into the center of the room to introduce the evening’s play. She starred in over half the plays aired during the series’ eight-season run, playing everything from nuns to housewives. The periods and locations varied, the story may have been serious, amusing, or touching, but all were uplifting.
Television has changed a lot in the past few years. The wardrobe was very covered on a female then it is today. The black and white coloring on the television, showed how the television shows was broadcast in the 1960s.
A tale of two cities
In 1767, Alexander Manette is telling a story , about being a servant and how he was seized and brought to Paris for a crime on which he can loose his life. Some people were either arrested or executed because they were immigrants. He is begging for someone to release him, his wife and child came to visit him but they refuse to let him see them. The wife pleaded that he wasn’t guilty and that her husband is innocent.
